Hydroponic Green Peas

If you choose to start growing your peas with the seed method then you will want to start planting those before placing them into your hydroponic system. To do this, simply place a seed into soil and wait a few weeks for germination to begin. Once you have one or two leafs, then its time to put it into your hydroponic system!

Once you place your little plant into your system, you can go ahead and add in your solution and feed. Now just keep an eye on it, and wait for it to grow. For Green Peas, they potentate themselves so you don’t have to worry about doing that! Which is super nice and convenient.

Aeroponic Green Peas

Indoor Green Peas

A few pest that tend to infect green peas are fruit flies, root rot, Aphids, and gnats. You can get rid of these pest in a lot of ways. Such as spraying soapy water onto the leaves and keeping your growing area clean.

Disease

The type of diseases that commonly attack Green peas during hydroponics is mold, fungus, and algae. To prevent these from happen, keep an eye on your humanity temperature. You can use a fan or a air conditioning to keep the temp to a low.
